FERNANDO VARELA
Born in Montevideo in 1951, Fernando Varela has been residing in Santo Domingo since 1975. His works, influenced by philosophy regarding the origin of the universe and the mind, encompass painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation, with a highlight on classical music.
MONICA VARELA
Monica Varela is a designer from the Dominican Republic who looks beyond the conventional. From a very young age, she was connected to an artistic environment. From there, her abstract notion was born, and she set her art in motion with collections of evolving jewelry.
